Prior to founding OffSite Works, Denise worked in the direct sales industry. She built a five-state region,
advancing from the first sales representative in Tennessee to regional vice
president in
charge of more than 3,000 reps, 100 managers and more than $40 million in annual sales. Working from
her own home office, she gained significant experience managing people in distant
locations.
As a speaker, Denise routinely addresses
business groups on a number of topics including: telework issues,
outsourcing strategies, small business and home-based business issues,
hiring independent contractors, women in the workforce and workforce
development.
Denises educational background includes a Bachelor of Science
with honors from the University of Houston and graduate work in Media Studies with a
Concentration in Technology and Science. Her
graduate courses have all been uniquely achieved through on-line computer conferencing
with New School University in New York.
Denise serves on the Nashville Area Chamber of
Commerce, the West Area Business Council, the Watkins College of Art &
Design Board and as one of Nashville
Technology Councils founding members.
